Football Manager 2010 Details

Football Manager 2010 is upon us and the Studio Director at Sports Interactive has revealed more details from the game.

In a video interview, Miles Jacobson explains the new features, options and background to this edition in the ever-popular management series.

Ubisoft Delaying

Ubisoft has announced that Splinter Cell: Conviction is to be delayed.

Due for an October release, the next edition in the Tom Clancy series will now be available in the first quarter of 2010.

Ubisoft also announced delays for the next Ghost Recon title, as well as the new IP I Am Alive.

Long-term interests of the company and full-year targets after a fall in business over the first half of 2009 were the main reasons stated by Ubisoft.

Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days

Eidos Interactive has trademarked the next Kane and Lynch title.

Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days is scheduled for release towards the end of the year.

Eidos has the likes of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Mini Ninjas due this year too.

Kane and Lynch 2: Dog Days is the follow up to Kane and Lynch: Dead Men.

Command and Conquer 4 Official

After previous news posts, Electronic Arts has officially announced Command and Conquer 4 is in development.

Set in 2062, the final chapter in series will take place after the events of Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and bring to a conclusion the fate of Earth, Nod, Tiberium, GDI and Kane’s plan.

Command and Conquer 4 will launch on the PC in 2010.

Dreamkiller Announced

Mindware, the development team behind Painkiller Overdose has announced it is working on a new first person shooter.

Dreamkiller is due at the end of the year on PC and XBOX 360.

It aims to take players “inside the dark and twisted nightmares of tortured souls possessed by unknown forces.”

FIFA 10 Revealed

The first FIFA 10 details have been revealed.

The next edition in the EA Sports football franchise is due for an October release on all platforms and contains features based on over 275 million online FIFA games played.

Across the pitch from keeper to striker, the gameplay will be more realistic and sophisticated, as well as feature new technology and mechanics, all with the FIFA community feedback in mind.

No Sign Of Hitman 5 - Yet

We know GameShadow has a big Hitman community and so we’re just giving you a quick update.

There was no Hitman 5 footage at E3 2009 and the game looks set to be released towards the end of 2010, potentially 2011.

Hitman 5 is still a working title, but all future news will appear on the current Hitman 5 Gamepedia page.

Homefront Kaos

Kaos Studios, the development team behind 2008’s Frontlines: Fuel of War, has revealed its next first person shooter title, Homefront.

The game is set in the United States, a country now occupied by North Korea, and will see players defending their home country in both single and multiplayer campaigns.

No firm release date has been given, but it will launch for the PC, XBOX 360 and PS3.

Blurred Vision

Details have surfaced on Bizarre Creations’ next racing title, Blur.

The development team behind the likes of PGR4 and The Club are bringing an innovative new community-based interface to the game. It will supply a unique story-driving social network that evolves dynamically as players compete in different races, make new friends, rivals, fans, as well as connect with other racers both in-game and in real life.

Blur is due on the PC, XBOX 360 and PS3 towards the end of the year.

Ubisoft Games

Ubisoft has confirmed some additional titles for 2009-2010.

Titles that have been quiet recently are making their way out in the dated period, including Anno 1404 and Splinter Cell: Conviction.

Assassin’s Creed 2 and R.U.S.E. are scheduled for the same period, plus a new Ghost Recon and Raymond Raving Rabbids title.

Bethesda Gets WET

Bethesda has confirmed that it is to publish WET, the third person shooter title from development studio A2M.

The game was set for a 2008 release, but was a victim of the Activision/Vivendi merger.

It will now be making a splash on the PS3 and XBOX 360 in the latter stages of this year.

The Next Driver

Ubisoft has trademarked a new Driver title.

Driver: The Recruit is the name that has been registered and indicates that a new edition in the long-running series is heading for a release.

The original Driver was released in 1999.
