    Just upgraded (only cause had to) and lots-o-problems. Hate this format, really liked the old one WAAYYY better, skips games, doesn’t support my NVIDIA driver version ???????????? Not easy to navigate, and it doesn’t seem to refresh just one game anymore (i.e. after patching a game.) Instead, you have to search all your games for updates (and look for new games) just to show one game’s updated version. Things like that, what a pain.

    Hey! I downloaded Gameshadow just today and thought this would make finding patches easier. But all the gameshadow pages say to me the same thing:

    Have just downloaded the latest version from the website.

    It won’t even launch.

    Comes up with Error 440 Automation error.

    Any ideas???

    This version sucks.
    Please just go back to the old version and lets have none of this internet page loading crap.
    Previous version (Totally offline until required stand alone program) was reliable quick and easy to navigate.
    version 3 or the cloud version just sucks because It just dosen’t work 80% of the time. Can’t change the settings because it can’t sync with the server and it can’t do that due to various reasons such as timeouts or other web based errors.
    Now when it did work it was painfully slow to bring up the games page and refreshing a game after an update became tiresome.

    Now I did a traceroute on gameshadow.com and it seems like your firewall might be to blame for this.

    Why not just go back to the old version.
    Currently looking at other alternatives to this program as it hasn’t worked for me in over 3 months.

    Using v3, but when checking for updates, a box appears, that states:
    ‘There was a problem checking for game updates. Please try again later’

    Strangely enough, has been like this since I changed broadband server, from tiscali to talktalk, same broadband speed, different package, although could be a coincidence.
