The Sims 3 was always on the cards. Now we have the first details.
In an email to The Sims community, the game’s executive producer has outlined some of the key advancements we’ll see in the follow up. You can read the whole shebang right here. It kinda boils down to ‘The Sims 2, but everything made better’. In case you can’t be arsed to read the full thing, the two big shouts appear to be a seamless, living neighborhood, and far more powerful customisation tools.
In case that doesn’t seem like the most exciting news of the century (or the most surprising), let’s not forget that there’s a decent reason The Sims has turned into the unstoppable mainstream monster it is today – it’s extremely good.

In regards to this picture, the babies in Sims 3 are not nearly this cute. In fact, they kinda look like aliens. In a bad way.

Personally i love the game, but theere are just a few things i miss from the Sims 2 series. Like( this may sound stupid) the slow dancing option from the sims 2 expansion bits. I just thought it was really sweet and cute!. Another thing is that the hairstyles and the clothes arnt as good as the sims 2, i know you can download stuff but they dont work on mine and my friends all say the same. I think everything else is really really really great but id love there to be apartments again .

I LOVE the sims 3. definitley reccomend you should buy it, but i agree with alot of the comments that the babies in sims 3 and no where near as cute as on the sims 2! I want them backk!

if u have not played the sims 2 but just got the sims 3 ..i suggest u go and buy sims 2 ..its rocks…….i miss so many things that im thinking about going backwards .like weather, bathing toddlers and babies, yes i even miss the toddlers getting in toilet and puddles * hey that is what kids do!!* i miss going and buying clothes, and the PETS< i miss the pets,,,,,OMG i miss my dogs and cats, and all the things u can do with them ….
i also miss the open for business how you can set up shop and sell things, also the chirstmas things with santa. also all the little things while eating like throwing food, the sims 3 sims eat too fast, even if u got two sims going to the table at once ..the first is done before the second one gets to the table..and the list goes on …
